A new leadership team was created within DTS to drive change in the business. Our organisation had a tendency for rework which created operational inefficiencies. I wanted to learn Lean skills, be able to make a deep diagnosis of a problem and propose tangible improvements. I had knowledge of Lean from a previous Lean management course, but took the OE Partners Lean Six Sigma training because I need to address product quality in a manufacturing environment. Priorities are to measure where we are; undertake a critical analysis of issues such as rejects, reworks and breakdowns; and cut waste from the system by removing non-value add processes. I’m already applying new measurement and quality tools from the course to a factory floor layout. I would highly recommend the OE Partners training.

OE Partners were able to train myself and two of my staff with Lean and Six Sigma up to Green Belt Level. Their teaching methods and knowledge in this field were certainly top level and we were able to take a lot of useful information that we could implement into our business.

Probably the biggest benefit we’ve had working with OE Partners is understanding areas of improvement, what the processes we need to work on first and making actual structural changes to our ERP system and the structural changes out in the warehouse. I really liked OE Partners’ ability to convey their ideas and their communication skills, and the contact that we had out onsite with them. Also, their ability to draw on paper and then put it into practice kept our belief in the system moving forward. I think the hardest part in bringing in a new system into a workplace is being able to convey that system but keep people on the journey. We certainly have a much more efficient, much more organized workplace. I like their structured approach to organizational workplaces.
